Less Desk Work, More Participation: AI Assistance for Care Documentation (BTHG)

5. GDPR from the start: Optionally with a self-hosted language model, so sensitive client data never leaves the building. Pseudonymization, deletion policy, and a data processing agreement are part of the setup, not the fine print.

The benefit: Pure writing time per report drops from hours to the time it takes to review a good draft. Reports become more consistent and get finished on time, new colleagues learn the documentation standards faster, and the time gained goes back to working with people. Which is what the BTHG was meant to achieve in the first place.
